Deadria is a creative producer based in New York City. With The Movement, she has developed and produced numerous new works by emerging artists of color, most recently The Cotillion written and directed by Colette Robert, What To Send Up When It Goes Down by Aleshea Harris, directed by Whitney White and And She Would Stand Like This by Harrison David Rivers, directed by David Mendizábal and choreography by Kia LaBeija. Harrington was a Time Warner Foundation Fellow of the 2012-2014 Producers Lab at Women’s Project Theater, a Next Generation Leader of Color at the 2014 Latinx Theatre Commons National Convening, has participated in artEquity’s National Facilitator Training, and is a member of New York Foundation for the Arts Executive Leaders of Color Incubator. She has consulted with artEquity and SITI Company, and is the Director of Artistic Operations at New Georges, Board Co-Chair of the Alliance of Resident Theatres/NY and a Vassar College graduate. Originally from Baltimore, MD, Lockley is an award-winning actor, writer, comedian, producer, and a founder of two Harlem-based organizations: The Movement Theatre Company and Harlem9. With these organizations Eric has produced critically acclaimed productions and festivals, published anthologies of new plays and created initiatives that highlight the complexity and diversity of people of color.

Spearheading video and social media content for The Movement, Eric has ensured increased visibility, brand consistency and audience development. Lockley has performed in works by prestigious contemporary playwrights Tarell Alvin McCraney (Choir Boy), Marcus Gardley (Black Odyssey) and Idris Goodwin (How We Got On). On-screen credits include, First Reformed, Luke Cage, and the critically acclaimed The Inheritance.  As a writer Eric’s plays including Blacken the Bubble and Without Trace have premiered on stages in DC, NY and Chicago. On-screen writing credits include Eric’s comedic web series Blacker, whichis featured on “Best Web Series” lists and his short film, The Jump, available on Amazon. In 2020 Lockley was Head Writer for the inaugural awards ceremony, The Antonyos, celebrating Black Theater. As a part of The Public Theater’s Devised Theater Working Group Eric will have a workshop production of his Afro-Futurist play Sweet Chariot at the 2022 Under The Radar Festival. David Mendizábal is a Helen Hayes and Lucille Lortel Award-winning director, designer, and the Associate Artistic Director / Director of In Dialogue at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. They serve as one of the Producing Artistic Leaders of the Obie award-winning The Movement Theatre Company and is a founding collective member of the Obie award-winning Sol Project.
